The Scholarships for Minorities Award is for an Australian who has made an outstanding contribution in diabetes research, clinical or service areas in Australia.
The recipient of the Kellion Award must be an ADS member and will be required to deliver the ADS Kellion Plenary Lecture at the Australian Diabetes Society/Australian Diabetes Educators Association Annual Scientific Meeting to be held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre from 31 August-2 September 2011. The Scholarships for Minorities Award will include a return business class airfare to the meeting, accommodation for the duration of the meeting, registration, and a commemorative plaque. There is also a $5,000 honorarium.
